2009 – 2018 ∞ 10 years anniversary!
Since 2009 every August we are connecting people from all around the world through music and dance. We want to celebrate with you and we say “THANK YOU” to our supporters and the dancers, artists and visitors who shared this experience with us.
Of course we want to dedicate this evening to the roots of Tango Argentino and a contemporary interpretation from Buenos Aires.

Live-Music: “Carlos Libedinsky Quinteto” with Carlos Libedinsky – Bandoneón, Mariano Castro – Piano, Carlos Corona -Guitar, Pedro Santana – Contrabass, Alejandro García – Drums
DJane: Mona Isabelle – Contemporary Tango, Tango Nuevo, Neo Tango (Tangoloft Berlin)
Dance: Natalia Ochoa & Ismael Ludman

After his worldwide successful contemporary group NARCOTANGO, Carlos Libedinsky introduces his Quintet, where the Bandoneon dives into South American roots, creating a deep landscape of rythms, vocals and acoustic instruments, bringing a unique sound and flavour.
The musical results invite you to immerse in a magic trip and to explore the dancefloor in unexpected ways.
Carlos Libedinsky was distinguished in 2013 as “Outstandig Personality of Culture” by the Argentinian Parliament, and was nominated to the “Latin Grammy Awards” in 2009 and 2010.

Free entrance, no registration necessary

The Contemporary Tango Festival is dedicated to the global variety of Tango Argentino and the impact of this dance on all the international musicians, dancers, artists, performers who live and work in Berlin.
Dance the world in Berlin Central Station!
You are also invited just to watch and enjoy the scene as a spectator.

Contemporary Tango Festival (21.- 26.08.2018) is produced by Contemporary Opera Berlin, DB Station&Service AG, Werbegemeinschaft der Berliner Bahnhöfe and Kadmos Produktion
